At a small restaurant called Hotel Raghavarthini, Vijay Sethupathi's character Aakasaveeran and Nithya Menen's Perarasi run the business together. The storyline starts to unfold there. The trailer begins with loving scenes between the couple but shifts to harsh arguments and conflicts which were never finished that risk both their marriage and job.Their never-ending fighting causes the diner to close under a sign stating, "Closed owing to unresolved conflict," which is a metaphor for their downfall. Perarasi ultimately requests separation, which prepares the ground for a tremendous emotional confrontation.

This is the second collaboration between the lead actors after their 2022 Malayalam film 19 (1) (a). Speaking at a press event, Vijay Sethupathi praised Nithya Menen’s performance, saying, “It’s impossible to imagine anybody else in the roles Nithya has played so far.”

Their chemistry is expected to be a major highlight of the film, which blends humour, heartbreak, and domestic drama.
