Milwaukee Bucks expected to re-sign Thanasis Antetokounmpo if Giannis commits to staying with the team
Both brothers, Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, play in the NBA. Now, they might again be on the same team. The Milwaukee Bucks are anticipated to re-sign Thanasis, the brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Since the Greek Freak recently stated that he would "probably" remain in Milwaukee Bucks, there has been a lot of conjecture on whether the team will trade their top player or not. Thanasis Antetokounmpo had another option- playing for the New York Knicks.
However, after recuperating from surgery on his Achilles tendon in May 2024, he is likely to join his brother. Addressing the same, Marc Stein said that:“The Bucks, meanwhile, remain on the hunt for backcourt help and are expected to re-sign Antetokounmpo's brother Thanasis if their superstar indeed remains in Brewtown.”
