J&K CM Omar Abdullah shows phone wallpaper to Bandipora students

J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah shared a lighthearted moment with college students by showing them his phone wallpaper.

BANDIPORA: A light-hearted moment marked J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah’s interaction with college students in north Kashmir’s Bandipora when a student asked him if he could show them his phone wallpaper.“Oh, sure,” Abdullah responded, pulling out his phone amid laughter. “Thank God it’s nothing embarrassing,” he quipped, drawing a cheerful response from the students. The interaction took place during Abdullah’s visit to Bandipora on Wednesday, when he met students of Government Degree College Bandipora.

The CM later shared a video of the exchange on his official Instagram account. Explaining his phone settings, Abdullah said he uses different wallpapers for different focus modes.“Right now, believe it or not, it’s just clouds with lightning from Bandipora,” he said, adding that another wallpaper is simply a map. “I don’t use photographs as wallpapers. Honestly, no,” he remarked.Abdullah also revealed that he uses a privacy screen guard on his phone. “My wallpaper is boring because someone is always trying to look at my phone,” he said. “That’s why I use a privacy screen, so nobody around me can see what’s on it.”

Recalling his experiences during flights, Abdullah said co-passengers often try to glance at his screen. “So I make sure there’s nothing embarrassing, nothing someone could screenshot and put on social media, forcing me to apologise later,” he said.
