A Los Angeles Rams fan has found herself back in the spotlight after a viral tailgate video resurfaced on social media. The clip began trending again after an NFL Insider shared it on X, reminding fans of the frightening scene that unfolded before a Rams preseason game.
While the footage first surfaced in 2025, fresh reactions have poured in, with many saying the incident stopped being funny the moment paramedics stepped in.
NFL insider's post sparks fresh debate as Los Angeles Rams fans' viral tailgate video resurfaces
The latest wave of attention started after NFL Insider posted on X: "𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: This female Rams fan has gone viral for drinking way too much at a tailgate/game, passing out and had to be taken away in an ambulance. Awful."
Although the post appeared this week, the incident took place on Aug 16, 2025, before the Los Angeles Rams faced the Los Angeles Chargers in a preseason game at SoFi Stadium. The fan documented her day on TikTok from start to finish. The videos showed her taking shots, drinking mixed drinks, doing a keg stand and dancing with friends during the tailgate. In another clip, she appeared to use a flask disguised as a portable phone charger. Everything suggested she was enjoying a typical NFL tailgate before the situation suddenly changed.Once inside SoFi Stadium, the celebration came to an abrupt end.
Videos later showed the woman slumped over in her seat before paramedics arrived. She appeared sick and unable to continue watching the game as medical personnel helped her onto a stretcher. Her TikTok later carried the caption, "The pink lot #tailgate at the #sofistadium will get you on another level 🤣 #fyp #football #tailgateszn."According to Complex, the video drew nearly two million views on TikTok before spreading across X, Instagram and several sports pages.
The latest repost introduced the incident to another wave of NFL fans, making it trend all over again. The renewed attention also brought a flood of reactions. One fan wrote, "I hope she's okay that's actually scary."Another user looked at the bigger picture and commented, "These situations often highlight how quickly alcohol-related incidents can escalate in crowded environments like tailgates and stadiums."Not everyone showed sympathy. One response simply read, "F****ng idiot."Another user criticised the behaviour shown before kickoff, writing, "Flexing drinking in a car is a serious 'ick' and should be for everyone."Those comments reflected the split online. Some viewers focused on the woman's well-being, while others questioned the choices that led to the medical emergency. Many also pointed out that what started as another party video quickly became a reminder that excessive drinking can have serious consequences.Ironically, the viral clips drew more attention than the football itself. The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Chargers 23-22 that afternoon, but much of the postgame conversation centered on the fan's medical emergency instead of the preseason result.Tailgating remains one of the NFL's most popular traditions and a major part of the game-day experience. However, this resurfaced video has once again shifted the conversation toward fan safety, showing how quickly a day meant for celebration can turn into a medical emergency.
