"The cancer’s gone." – WWE Hall of Famer shares powerful health update

The wrestling world is often seen as a hardcore and exhausting industry that can take a toll on anyone, be a wrestler or personnel. In the last year, a WWE Hall of Famer has been battling a string of serious health conditions, but came out strong each time.

A while ago, he announced that he had a cancer condition and required treatment for the same.

Weeks after that disheartening update, the legendary figure announced a health update that can be a relief for many fans who prayed for him.

Which WWE Hall of Famer revealed a major health update after being diagnosed with cancer?

WWE legend and current AEW personnel, Jim Ross, provided an update on his health on the latest edition of his podcast, Grillin with JR. He had announced that he was diagnosed with colon cancer a few weeks ago and had to undergo surgery that went well.

In the latest update, Good Ol' JR revealed that he was cancer-free and felt good regarding his health.He said, “You never know about tomorrow. The cancer’s gone, which I’m very happy to say. So you know, I’m blessed that my health has returned, and I’m feeling pretty damn good.” Furthermore, he also added that he was tired of sitting home and wanted to pursue opportunities, especially be present at the upcoming AEW All In Texas event on Saturday, July 12, at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

“Yeah, I’m tired of sitting at home, and I’m excited about the opportunities that await. I am feeling better. My plan is to be in Dallas for the big event [AEW All In].”

Jim Ross has been battling major health problems since the better part of last year and had been hospitalized numerous times. However, with the support of his family and fans, Ross emerged even better from each of those situations. Moreover, it was no different this time when he was detected with cancer. Ross had been working part-time appearances for AEW for a while now.
