The Chainsmokers, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, pulled off one of the wildest surprises of the year when they showed up at an Ohio State University frat house and turned it into a full concert.

It all happened Friday night, August 30, at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) house in Columbus, Ohio, just hours before Ohio State faced the Texas Longhorns in one of the biggest college football games of the season.

The crowd of Ohio State students was packed tight inside the house, bouncing and singing as the Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers played their biggest songs. Videos show the room shaking as hundreds of students jumped in unison, screaming along to “Roses,” “Closer,” and other Chainsmokers hits.

One student who was inside the party said, “Nobody had any idea they were coming. Suddenly they were just on stage and the place went crazy. It felt like the whole house was going to fall down.”

Members of the SAE frat were just as shocked as everyone else. “We didn’t even know they were coming.
