The Entire Controversy Between FaZe Rain and Temperrr Explained

The recent time is a bit hard for one of the biggest esports and content creations groups. All of these began when two of its co-founders - Nordan “FaZe Rain” Shat and Thomas “FaZe Temperrr” Oliveira - got riddled in serious beef with each other, following a public fallout.Rain accused Temperrr of having inappropriate se*ual encounters with minors, but Temperrr absolutely denied all the allegations as he claimed Rain was trying to blackmail him. Rain’s shocking allegations towards Temperr

The start of this explosive controversy was when FaZe Rain opened up about the main reason behind his departure from the clan, during a September 14 livestream. Rain stated that he was deeply shocked and disturbed by an incident which he remarked as a “pedophile” sitaution, that too, sparked by his long-time friend and another co-founder of the clan alongside of him, Temperr. So, what really happened? Rain explained that Temperrr once revealed his alleged dark secrets to him as he told, “Bro, I’m not going to lie, I had a three*ome with two 16-year-olds.” However, Temperrr later on allegedly revised his account saying, “it wasn’t a three*ome” and “One was 17, and the other just watched.”

Rain also revealed in that stream that he had been carrying the burden of the secret for more than two years and it emotionally broke him from inside.

He also claimed that he informed senior FaZe figures such as Banks, Apex and former CEO Lee Trink, before actually making the whole scenario public. Rain was also disappointed with the way Temperrr allegedly tried to justify the situation as he claimed everything happened under consent.

Banks cleared his name

Rain exposed the FaZe Clan member on the livestream in a unanimous manner as he didn’t mention anyone’s name. After that livestream, everyone thought Rain was talking about Richard “FaZe Banks” Bengtson. However, Banks quickly issued a public statement and cleared all the confusion regarding him.

Banks also admitted that there have been a lot of wrong things going on in FaZe and claimed that he always supported his fellow clan members, including Rain. This clarification actually helped the fans to narrow down the focus and understand actually who was the alleged culprit.

Temperrr denied all the accusations

FaZe Temperrr didn’t take long to deny all the accusations towards him as he described these allegations as “sick, twisted, and insane.” He claimed that the incident which Rain was referencing happened years ago in New York, where he met two girls at a 21+ club and later on went to a hotel room with them.

However, Temperrr also revealed that he later found out that that the girl he had a physical relationship with was 17. This is a the legal age of consent in New York but he emphasised on the fact that everyone in that club was over 21 as it was an age-restricted venue. After knowing her real age, Temperrr became really “sick” to his stomach and became extremely uncomfortable.

How Temperrr fired back at Rain with the accusation of blackmailing

The denial was not the only part of Temperrr’s revelations, as this time, he alleged Rain of trying to blackmail him using this secret. He stated that Rain tried to threaten Temperrr to “air this out” if he wasn’t paid enough.

This is actually a huge setback for the FaZe clan as a whole as two of its biggest members clashing out at each other publicly.
