The dim, three-room flat in Ghaziabad remains sealed, its silence punctuated only by the disturbing markings left on its walls. Faint pencil sketches, half-written lines, and carefully erased words cover the surfaces—signs of a repetitive cycle of writing and rejection. A picture of Radha-Krishna hangs near an uneven English sentence that reads, “I am very alone. Make me a heart of broken." Thick pencil lines strike through the words, mirroring similar cross marks over drawings and slogans throughout the apartment.

From this ninth-floor balcony, three minor sisters, aged 16, 14, and 12, jumped to their deaths in the early hours of Wednesday. Police believe they climbed a plastic stool to clear the railing, falling nearly 80 feet.

The Household Dynamic

The investigation into the family’s domestic life has revealed a complex structure. The girls lived with their father, a forex trader, and his two wives, who are reportedly sisters themselves. The eldest girl was the daughter of the first wife, while the younger two were born to the second.

The family of seven occupied the three-room apartment. According to the father, the sisters had become increasingly insular over the past two years, withdrawing from the rest of the family.

“They stayed together all the time—eating together, going to the toilet together, even bathing together," he told investigators.

Police are particularly concerned by the revelation that the sisters had not attended school since the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite being 16, the eldest was reportedly still enrolled in only Class 4, suggesting a prolonged period of educational neglect and social isolation.

The ‘Korean Love Game’ and the Diary

The focal point of the probe is an 18-page diary titled “True Life Story." The first page bears a heartbreaking apology: “Read now. I am really sorry. Sorry papa," accompanied by a hand-drawn crying emoji.

Preliminary digital forensics suggests the sisters were deeply immersed in a task-based online interactive game referred to as the “Korean Love Game". The girls reportedly identified so strongly with the content that they addressed each other by Korean names and viewed themselves as “Korean princesses".

The “Death Commander": Investigators are verifying whether the middle sister acted as a “boss" or “death commander," a character role believed to assign tasks to the others.

The Final Task: A note in the diary reportedly stated, “Now you will understand how much we loved the game that you wanted us to leave." This follows claims that the family had recently restricted their mobile phone usage, potentially triggering the fatal decision.

Forensic and Psychological Analysis

Dr Manini Srivastava, a psychiatrist from the University of Lucknow, noted that the repetitive crossing-out of words on the walls signals intense emotional turmoil and inner conflict. Police are investigating whether these markings were themselves part of “game-related tasks" or reflected a deteriorating mental state.

As the forensic team examines the recovered mobile phones, the flat remains a frozen scene of a life interrupted—unmade beds, an open almirah, and a family photograph placed face-up on the floor, appearing as a final, deliberate goodbye.
