The Undertaker officially announces AJ Styles for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026

AJ Styles had a spectacular homecoming on the February 23 episode of Monday Night RAW. It was a night that was a tribute to his illustrious career for more than two decades. The festivities were made extra special with his return and the blockbuster news that was announced at the very end of the captivating show.As Styles closed out the event with a heart-warming speech for the fans and his family, he left his jacket and gloves in the middle of the ring. Following that, the entire WWE locker room came out to congratulate him on an iconic career and gave him a huge applause. As Styles was soaking it all in, the lights went off, and The Undertaker's music hit. The Deadman rode his bike to the ring and got in to stand toe-to-toe with Styles.The Undertaker first cut a promo and hinted at some unfinished business with The Phenomenal One.

However, he broke the suspense by announcing that AJ Styles is the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026. This led to a thunderous ovation erupting in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, which was Styles' home state and a perfect place for a major announcement like that. The show ended with an emotional Styles celebrating with his family and friends.

The Undertaker also had the privilege of announcing the first inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026, before AJ Styles.

At the 2025 Wrestlepalooza event, The Phenom came out and sat in the audience with Stephanie McMahon. In a surprising turn, he announced that the Billion Dollar Princess was the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. So, Styles will join an important WWE figure in the Hall of Fame, with more inductees yet to be announced.As for The Phenomenal One, this was his first appearance since losing a career-threatening match to The Ring General Gunther at the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Premium Live Event. His tribute night featured several legends from WWE and TNA, vignettes with stars talking about him, and the cherry on the top was Styles' return and Hall of Fame.
