Theft at Thrissur Corporation Zonal Office: Opposition seeks thorough probe

A reported theft at the Kurkkanchery zonal office of the Thrissur Corporation has triggered political controversy, with the Opposition demanding a detailed and transparent investigation.

According to CPI(M) leader T. R. Hiran, suspicions emerged after the Deputy Mayor, even before the completion of the preliminary inquiry, indicated that files might have been stolen in the incident.

The Opposition has expressed concern that the theft could have been used as a cover to remove important documents from the office. Opposition councillors visited the zonal office to assess the situation.

They have called for the investigation to be expedited and carried out efficiently to uncover the truth behind the incident.
