Young actor Aashriya Mishra, at just 12, is making waves in television and films, finding her 'happy place' on set. At the age of 12, actor Aashriya Mishra has worked across television and films. Having appeared in shows like Choti Sarrdaarni and Namak Issk Ka, and films including OMG 2, Tarla, Thai Massage and Curse of Damyaan, the young actor says film and television sets have become her “happy place.

Talking about the biggest lessons she has picked up from her co-stars, Aashriya says professionalism and positivity have stayed with her. “One thing I’ve learned from my co-stars is to always stay confident, disciplined, and keep smiling no matter how long the shoot is. They’ve also taught me to be kind and respectful to everyone on set, and I try to follow that in my real life too,” she says.Despite juggling a busy shooting schedule, Aashriya makes sure her studies remain a priority.

She credits her mother for helping her maintain the balance. “My mom plans everything really well. I use short breaks on set to revise and focus on one subject at a time. That helps me stay prepared even during hectic shooting days,” she shares.Having worked in the entertainment industry from a young age, Aashriya is aware of the competition but prefers to focus on self-improvement rather than comparisons. “There is definitely competition, even among child actors.

But I believe everyone has their own talent and uniqueness. I just focus on learning, improving myself, and giving my best whenever I get an opportunity,” she says.Known to many as Chutki from Chhota Bheem was also crowned Jr. Miss India 2026, Aashriya says she genuinely enjoys being on set. “I feel really positive whenever I’m shooting because it’s one of the best places for me. I love learning new things and doing what I enjoy the most,” she says.
