Flash floods after heavy rain drag two cars into drain, terrifying video surfaces

Two cars were swept into a drain in Maharashtra’s Vasai after heavy rainfall led to a sudden rise in water flow. One driver managed to jump out of the vehicle in time and survived. Officials said continuous rain caused floodwater from the nearby hilly region to enter the drain, resulting in the vehicles being carried away. Both cars were parked near the drain when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses said the driver of one vehicle escaped before it was pulled into the drain. Locals gathered at the spot soon after the incident was reported. The local administration has advised citizens to avoid venturing near drains, waterfalls and waterlogged roads during heavy rain and to follow safety precautions.
