He panned the camera towards a grandpa sitting on a park bench asking him if he is Japanese to which he affirmed."I am American but I am studying Japanese," said the American man and proceeded to ask the permission of the Japanese grandpa for a video they could shoot together.The Japanese grandpa introduced himself as 'Nishikawa Takashi' and shared how it was the first time he had ever spoken like this with an American man over a camera.

When asked by the man if he was his first foreign friend, he agreed.Then happened the most wholesome part which melted many hearts on the internet where the old grandpa invited the young American for dinner at his house. They took a bus to the grandpa's house where the American man shared a dinner with him and his wife. When he asked if the couple had ever been to America, the grandpa shared that they had visited during the time of their marriage to Hawaii and Los Angeles almost 48 years ago.
