Three people ended their lives in separate incidents in Hyderabad over the weekend, with police citing personal, financial, employment and health-related issues as possible factors.

In the first incident, Shaik Mujeeb, 52, a car driver and resident of Bharat Nagar in Borabanda, was found dead at his residence on Sunday morning.

According to Borabanda Inspector M. Surender, Mujeeb lived with his wife and three sons and had been struggling with health problems. Police said he had slipped into depression over his deteriorating health, financial difficulties and family-related issues before taking the extreme step.

Based on a complaint, the Borabanda police registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to his death.

In another incident, Rahim Bhai, 30, an unemployed man from Gujarat who had been living with his sister at High Vision Residency in Kompally for the past two years, was found dead at his residence on Saturday night.

According to the Petbasheerabad police, his sister had left for work at around 11 a.m. and returned home at about 10 p.m.. Finding the door latched from inside and receiving no response, she sought the help of neighbours, who removed a window grill and entered the house. Rahim Bhai was found dead inside.

Preliminary investigation suggests that he had been struggling with unemployment and health issues and may have taken the extreme step due to despondency over his circumstances. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.

In a separate incident, Baki Akhil, 20, a student and resident of Mankhal in Pahadishareef, ended his life at his home on Saturday night.

Police said Akhil had asked his parents to buy him a motorcycle as a birthday gift. However, they could not purchase it due to financial constraints. The family was also facing personal issues, police said.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Akhil took the extreme step on Saturday night. His parents told the police they believed he may have slipped into depression after they were unable to gift him the motorcycle on his birthday.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
