The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested three government employees and a licensed private surveyor in separate cases of bribery on Tuesday (August 12, 2025).
In Vikarabad, K. Sujatha, junior assistant in the District Collector’s office, was trapped by Rangareddy ACB unit while accepting ₹15,000 from a complainant. The bribe was demanded for processing documents and dispatching the Collector’s order to the Nawabpet Tahsildar’s office for inclusion of the complainant’s mother’s name in respect of two acres of land. The bribe amount was recovered from her and she was sent to judicial remand.
In Peddapalli, mandal surveyor Paindla Sunil and licensed private surveyor Katukuri Rajender Reddy were arrested for allegedly demanding and accepting ₹10,000 from a complainant. The bribe was demanded to furnish a survey panchanama copy of land pertaining to the complainant.

Investigation revealed that Sunil directed the amount to be transferred via PhonePe to Reddy. Both were produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases in Karimnagar and remanded to judicial custody.
In Mancherial district, Gadiyaram Srinivasulu, junior assistant at Primary Health Centre Angarajpalli, and in-charge of Kotapalli PHC, was trapped by the ACB officials while accepting ₹6,000 from a complainant.

The bribe was demanded for preparing two DA arrear bills and submitting them to the Drawing and Disbursing Office Kotapalli PHC. The accused was produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases in Karimnagar.
All three cases are under investigation, and the identities of the complainants have been withheld for security reasons.
Meanwhile, the ACB urged citizens to report any demands for bribes through its toll-free number 1064 or via WhatsApp and social media, assuring complete confidentiality for whistle-blowers.
