Three in conflict with law booked for murder of boy in Lingsugur

The Hutti Police have booked three children in conflict with law in connection with the murder of a minor boy in Lingsugur taluk of Raichur district.

According to an FIR, there was a wedding in the village of the deceased boy on Sunday and after finishing meal there, he told his father that he is going to Lingsugur on a motorcycle with three of his friends.

Later, when the boy did not return home that night, the deceased boy’s father asked his friends who had taken him to Lingsugur about it and they told him that they did not have any idea, the FIR said.

Then, the deceased boy’s father filed a complaint stating that the three friends beat his son up for some reason, murdered him somewhere and then, with the intention of destroying evidence, they threw the body near a lake in Lingsugur taluk, the FIR said.

The police have registered the case under Sections 103(1) and 238 r/w 3(5) BNS 2023. Investigation is on.
