Three Minors Held For Raping 8-Year-Old In Delhi's Okhla

Delhi Police filed an FIR under POCSO Act after a minor girl alleged attempted rape by three boys aged 12-13 in Okhla. The victim was sent to AIIMS.

In a disturbing case reported from Delhi’s Okhla, a young girl has alleged that three boys attempted to rape her. The Delhi Police have registered an FIR under sections of the POCSO Act and have taken the minor accused boys into custody.

The accused minors include one 12-year-old and two 13-year-olds. The victim was sent to AIIMS, Delhi, for a medical examination.

Police provided further details on the incident. On 14 March 2026, a PCR call was received at the Okhla Industrial Area police station regarding the alleged sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl by three minor boys. Given the gravity of the situation, a special police team led by SI Dinesh promptly arrived at the scene. The three accused boys were brought to the interview area by the police while the victim and her mother also arrived at the police station via PCR.

To ensure the sensitive handling of the case, SI Neelam was involved in the inquiry and subsequent proceedings. During the preliminary inquiry, the victim was sent to AIIMS Hospital along with her mother and a lady constable for a medical examination. The doctor at the hospital recorded the history of sexual assault by three boys aged around 12-13 years.

The victim, aged about 7 years, provided a statement in which she alleged that she had been sexually assaulted by the three minor boys, identified as S (13 years), E (13 years), and M (12 years). She stated that on 12 and 13 March 2026, during the daytime, the accused boys took her to a warehouse near her house, removed her undergarments, and attempted to rape her one by one.

An FIR No. 131/2026 under Sections 70/351 BNS and Section 6 of the POCSO Act was registered at the Okhla Industrial Area police station. During the investigation, all three juveniles in conflict with the law (CCLs) involved in the sexual assault were apprehended by the police staff within hours of the case being registered.
