Jet Airways, which is currently under liquidation following a Supreme Court-ordered insolvency process, has issued a public notice for the e-auction of three Boeing 737 aircraft.
The assets comprise two Boeing 737-800s and one Boeing 737-900, currently parked in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. The e-auction is scheduled to take place on July 18, 2026, through the BAANKNET platform.
The sale follows the auction of five Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which were acquired by Malta-based Ace Aviation for a combined $107 million approximately. When Jet Airways ceased operations in 2019, it had 11 aircraft assets on its books. The remaining assets yet to be auctioned comprise three Airbus A330s.
Jet Airways is estimated to owe financial creditors about ₹7,807 crore. Total admitted claims, including dues owed to employees and other creditors when the airline was grounded in 2019, stand at approximately ₹15,723 crore.
