In her address, she described the journey of the cultural centre as one shaped by “stories, performances and shared moments", while reiterating its founding vision of promoting Indian art and culture globally.

Nita Ambani underscored the cultural significance of the number three, referencing the Trimurti — Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh — as well as the Tridevi: Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali. She also highlighted the Triveni of sacred rivers — Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati — linking tradition with the institution’s milestone.

She added that the institution was built on a promise “to bring the best of India to the world and the best of the world to India," and said efforts were ongoing to showcase Indian artists and artisans on the global stage.

Nita Ambani also expressed gratitude to all those associated with the centre. “This journey would not have been possible without the artists, audiences and community who have supported us," she said.

Concluding her address, she said she hopes India’s cultural legacy continues to “spread far and wide".

Marking the milestone, she also made a striking appearance on the pink carpet, reflecting the institution’s ethos through an ensemble that blended heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design.

She wore a custom molten gold silk saree with a luminous, metallic sheen layered with deep crimson undertones. The saree featured intricate zari work and a broad border with traditional paisley motifs, anchoring the modern finish in classic Indian design. Draped in a traditional Nivi style, it was paired with a structured maroon-gold blouse that complemented the palette.

Her jewellery included a layered necklace set with emeralds and rubies, along with matching jhumkas, stacked gold bangles and a statement ring. Her hair was styled in a sleek centre-parted bun adorned with a gajra, while her makeup remained understated with kohl-defined eyes, a natural lip shade and a red bindi.

According to its website, NMACC is a first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space. Envisioned by Nita Ambani, it aims to preserve and promote India’s rich art, culture and heritage through varied art forms.
