Thunderstorm alert in 19 Telangana districts for June 29

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 19 Telangana districts for Sunday, June 29.

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is very likely to occur in isolated places in Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts. Additionally, strong surface winds are very likely to occur in isolated places in all 33 districts of Telangana.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Light rain or drizzle accompanied by strong surface winds is very likely to occur in parts of the city. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34°C and 24°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
