Thunderstorm alert in nine Telangana districts on June 30

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert in nine Telangana districts for Monday, June 30.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are very likely to occur at isolated places in Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanamkonda districts. Additionally, strong surface winds are very likely to prevail at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State, the bulletin said.

Meanwhile, for Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, for the next 24 hours there will be cloudy sky. “Light rain or drizzle accompanied with strong surface winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. Hazy conditions are likely to prevail during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35°C and 24°C,” the bulletin said.
