The news came quickly and left fans stunned. Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident on Friday afternoon near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, his Land Rover rolled over while trying to pass a vehicle on a narrow two-lane road.

Sheriff John Budensiek said Woods showed signs of impairment at the scene. He later took a breath test and recorded 0.00, meaning no alcohol was found. However, he refused to take a urinalysis test. He was then arrested, charged with DUI involving property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test, and released from jail around 11 p.m.

Police said Woods managed to crawl out of the passenger side on his own.
