Tina Datta, popularly known for her role in Uttaran, shared an emotional note after her pet dog Bruno passed away on June 10. She shared a heartwarming video with him on social media, mentioning how being with Bruno helped her truly understand ‘motherhood’.

She also shared several emotional memories of her pet dog.Tina took to her Instagram handle to share the news of her pet dog’s passing with her fans. While sharing the post, she mentioned that he had been with her for over 12 years. The post read, “10th June, 16:35:09. 12.5 glorious years with my baby boy. My sunshine boy. He truly was the sunshine in my life. Every day while feeding him, I would sing songs to him. Out of all the songs in the world, this one somehow became his favourite.

On the nights when he would whine in pain, I would lift him into my lap and sing to him, and slowly, peacefully, he would drift off to sleep. Right until the very last day.”She further called him her ‘first child’ and mentioned how her entire world revolved around him. The post read, “He was my first child, and he always will be. I understood what motherhood felt like because of Bruno. My entire world revolved around him. Every plan, every schedule, every decision somehow began and ended with my precious boy.

I have never met anyone quite like Bruno. Not a single mean bone in his body. He never growled at anyone, never held a grudge, never wished harm upon a soul.

He was happiness wrapped in fur. Pure love. Pure innocence.”The actress then recalled how Bruno used to accompany her to shoots and always greeted her lovingly. The post further read, “From accompanying me to shoots to patiently waiting for me at home, nothing ever changed.

No matter how long I was gone, he greeted me like I was the best thing that had ever happened to him.He was also the only one who never failed to compliment me. Every time I dressed up, he would come running and cover my face with sloppy kisses. And red lipstick on me? That was his absolute favourite. They say dogs don’t see colours. I beg to differ when it came to Bruno. His favourite game was stealing cricket balls from kids and making them chase him.

Oh, how much joy that brought him. Watching him run around with that mischievous smile is a memory I’ll carry forever.”

Talking about the things Bruno enjoyed eating, she said, “Luchi (puri), KFC chicken, French toast, and omelettes cooked in butter were some of his favourite meals. He lived for food, cuddles, kisses, and being around the people he loved. The last few days were rocky. Deep down, I knew it was time for him to go. But somehow, he chose to stay a little longer. Almost as if he wasn’t ready to leave me. No matter how much pain he was in, he never complained. He never flinched. He never stopped being brave.”
