Tirupati temple board warns devotees against filming indecent videos in premises

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued a stern warning against the growing trend of recording social media reels featuring mischievous or indecent acts in and around the Tirumala Temple premises.

In a press note released by the Chief Public Relations Officer, the temple authority said that such videos, many of which have surfaced on various platforms recently, not only undermine the sanctity of the sacred site but also hurt the sentiments of lakhs of devotees who visit the hill shrine for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Calling such actions “objectionable” and “inappropriate” for a place of spiritual importance, the TTD said Tirumala is a center of devotion and worship and must be treated with reverence.

TTD vigilance and security personnel have been instructed to take strict action against those filming or encouraging such behavior. Offenders will face legal consequences, and cases will be registered against those who violate the temple’s sanctity.

The temple board also appealed to all devotees to cooperate in preserving the spiritual environment of Tirumala by refraining from creating or circulating content that disrespects the temple's atmosphere.
