TMC chief urges Anna Canteen visitors to avoid food waste

Tirupati Municipal Corporation (TMC) Commissioner Narapureddy Mourya urged the visitors at Anna Canteen eateries not to waste food by taking more than the necessary quantity

During her inspection of the canteen at SVIMS Circle here on Wednesday, she interacted with a couple of people who arrived for lunch and asked them about the quality of food served to them.

She also urged the visitors to take as much as they needed, but not to throw away excess food in the garbage bin. After receiving complaints about visitors taking multiple tokens, she cautioned them not to do so.

Ms. Mourya reminded the kitchen staff that she wanted the eatery to be maintained in a hygienic manner, while directing them to focus on serving delicious cuisines.
