Tom Holland, the actor who has been making headlines for his upcoming film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ wishes to take a long break in 2027 after a stunning lineup of releases in the previous year.
The 29-year-old champions the breaks and firmly claims that burnouts can’t bring out the best work.

While he is grateful for the work and his career, Tom feels blessed that he can afford to take some time out for himself. “You can't be in every movie, and you can't do your best work when you're burnt out. What I've learnt is that it's important to set boundaries — to be mindful about overworking,” he said in an interview with GQ.“I've got a slightly busy year next year,” he further continued, highlighting his upcoming releases: ‘The Odyssey,’ which would be released on July 17, 2026 and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ which would be released on July 31, 2026. “I’ll probably take a bit more time off in 2027. We'll see,” the actor suggested.
Tom Holland spoke about mental health and family
Previously, Holland spoke about his mental health and his efforts to maintain his well-being, including getting off social media and quitting drinking in 2022.
Furthermore, he said that he would be taking a break for a while after he had a difficult experience while making his series ‘The Crowded Room.’ Moreover, Tom had also teased about stepping out of the spotlight once he starts his family. In an interview with Men’s Health in January, the actor stated that one would not see him on the screen once he settles down. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth,” he added, stating that he would just like to be a golfer parent.
