Tracking Namma Metro

With Namma Metro’s Yellow Line finally welcoming passengers onboard in August 2025, after a delay of nearly four years, the focus has shifted to upcoming lines that are part of Bengaluru’s metro expansion. This includes the Pink Line, Blue Line, Red Line and Orange Line.

This series will delve into the progress of each line, areas of the city it seeks to connect, the projected cost and the number of stations, the challenges and missed deadlines, reasons for delays and tentative schedule for completion.
