The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in view of a programme being organised by the School Education Department at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium on Friday (June 19).
The event, scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., will be attended by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Traffic police said moderate congestion is expected on roads surrounding the stadium during the evening hours.
Commuters have been advised to avoid routes in the vicinity of the venue and use alternative roads to reach their destinations. The advisory was issued by Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis.
According to the advisory, traffic congestion is expected on the Ravindra Bharati to Nampally road stretch, Liberty to Abids road, Basheerbagh junction surroundings, the AR Petrol Pump to Nampally stretch, and the BJR Statue to Abids stretch.
Motorists have been requested to plan their journeys in advance and avoid the affected routes wherever possible to ensure smooth travel.
