Patna: The trial run of the Patna metro rail was conducted on Sunday. The three-coach train, with a unique design reflecting Bihar’s culture and heritage, started from the ISBT depot to Bhoothnath metro station via Zero Mile, covering 3.6 km from the depot to Zero Mile and then to Bhoothnath station.
During the trial, the engineers checked the speed of the train, the signalling system, and safety of the track. Earlier, the first trial run on a 900-metre track inside the depot was conducted on Sept 3. The elevated section of the Patna metro’s corridor-II, ‘Blue Line’, will be formally inaugurated this month.
