Tributes paid to martyrs on CRPF Day in Gaya

Patna: A grand ceremony was organised at the 47 Battalion CRPF headquarters on the Gaya jail premises, on the occasion of CRPF Day on Thursday. On this occasion, Awadhesh Kumar, Commandant of the 47 Battalion, paid heartfelt tributes to the martyred soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.Deputy Commandant Uttam Kumar, along with other officers, subordinate officers, and soldiers, was present at the event. During the programme, a 'Sainik Sammelan' (Soldiers' Conference) was also held, featuring special discussions aimed at boosting the morale of the troops and addressing their grievances.Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Awadhesh Kumar extended his greetings to all officers and soldiers on CRPF Day, stating, “the Central Reserve Police Force serves as the backbone of the country's internal security.”

He emphasised that the personnel of the Force discharge their duties with courage, discipline, and dedication under all circumstances. Recalling the sacrifices made by the martyrs, he called upon the soldiers to uphold their ideals.All officers and soldiers present at the ceremony reiterated their commitment to the service of the nation.
