Trio robs out-of-fuel motorcyclist in Chandigarh.

Times News NetworkChandigarh: A hunt is on for three men who ambushed and robbed a stranded motorcyclist after his vehicle ran out of fuel on Thursday night.Ramesh Kumar of Sector 45 was pushing his motorcycle towards a service station near the Sector-43-44 dividing road when the trio intercepted him, rifled through his pockets, and fled on foot with ₹1,500 and his mobile phone.The motorist raised the alarm quickly following the attack, prompting passersby to stop and assist him in contacting emergency services via the 112 control room hotline. Officers from the Sector 43 bus stand police post came to the spot.Investigators from the Sector 36 police station recorded Ramesh’s statement. Detectives are reviewing footage from CCTV cameras near the crime scene to identify the suspects, but have made no arrests yet.
