Tsunami hits Russia and Japan after massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday morning.
As an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on Wednesday morning, visuals surfaced showing horrific scenes from the buildings that survived the tremors.

The epicentre of the earthquake was at a depth of 74 km and was located 133 km southeast of Petropavlovsk‑Kamchatsky, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said. The scary videos showed the buildings shaking without a pause for seconds. People were heard screaming in fear. There were also reports of damage at various places; however, no reports of injuries or fatalities have surfaced so far. (Image: AP)
