Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued a fresh appeal to devotees, urging them not to trust middlemen or brokers promising quick Srivari darshan or accommodation in the hill town.Warning of strict legal action against anyone exploiting the faith of pilgrims, the temple administration emphasized that it has intensified its crackdown on unauthorized agents who mislead devotees and extort money.To counter the broker menace, TTD has requested pilgrims to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious individuals or extortion attempts. Devotees can lodge a complaint instantly by calling the TTD toll-free number at 155257.Addressing recent misinformation circulating on social media regarding darshan for elderly pilgrims, TTD clarified that the designated privileges remain intact and structured, advising devotees to ignore unauthorized viral posts.An online quota of 1,000 slots specifically for senior citizens and Physically Handicapped (PHC) devotees is released every day, three months in advance. Pilgrims holding valid tickets under this quota are allowed for darshan daily at 3:00 PM through the dedicated line located near the Tirumala Nambi Temple.Devotees have been strongly advised to plan their pilgrimage and book all services exclusively through TTD’s official digital platforms to ensure a secure journey.
