The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of VIP break darshan on select days between July 30 and September 30 in view of major religious festivals and temple rituals at the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.
According to the schedule, VIP break darshans will remain suspended on July 14 for Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam, July 17 for Anivara Asthanam, July 19 for Pedda Maryada to the Swamiji of Sri Andavan Ashramam, July 29 for the Chaturmasya Sankalpam of the Tirumala Jeeyar Swamijis, August 22 for Ankurarpanam ahead of Pavitrotsavams, August 24 for Pavitra Samarpana on the second day of Pavitrotsavams, September 8 for Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam in connection with the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams, September 14 for Ankurarpanam, and from September 15 to 23 during the Srivari Brahmotsavams.
The temple administration has clarified that VIP recommendation letters will not be accepted on the day preceding each of the notified dates. The restriction, however, will not apply to the protocol dignitaries.
The TTD has advised devotees to take note of the revised darshan schedule while planning their pilgrimage to Tirumala.
