TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone in its electric mobility journey, with the one-millionth TVS iQube rolling out of its Hosur manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu.
The achievement comes nearly five years after the electric scooter was first introduced in 2020 and highlights the growing acceptance of EVs among Indian two-wheeler buyers. The iQube's rise has mirrored the rapid expansion of India's electric scooter market. In FY26 alone, TVS retailed 3,67,501 units of the iQube, registering a year-on-year growth of 35 percent compared to 2,73,063 units in FY25.

What makes the TVS iQube so popular?
One of the biggest reasons behind the iQube's success is the wide range of options available to buyers.
Instead of offering a single product, TVS has built an entire family of electric scooters under the iQube brand. The lineup includes the standard iQube with 2.2kWh, 3.1kWh and 3.5kWh battery options, the iQube S with a 4.7kWh battery, and the flagship iQube ST equipped with a 5.3kWh battery pack. This broad portfolio allows customers to choose a scooter according to their budget and daily commuting needs. The entry-level iQube 2.2kWh is priced at Rs 94,434, ex-showroom, while the top-spec iQube ST costs Rs 1,58,834, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Range figures vary from 94 km on the base variant to as much as 212 km on the iQube ST.The company backs the battery pack with a warranty of three years or 50,000 km.
Besides, its hub-mounted electric motor produces 3kW of continuous power and 4.4kW of peak power, while peak torque stands at 140 Nm. Depending on the variant, top speed ranges between 75 kmph and 82 kmph. The scooter also gets Eco and Power riding modes/Technology has been another strong point. The iQube range offers the TVS iQube app and onboard display.
Features include navigation, charge status monitoring, call and SMS alerts, document storage, voice assist with Alexa integration, and anti-theft alerts. The scooter also supports over-the-air software updates.Practicality remains one of the iQube's biggest strengths. The S and ST variants offer 32 litres of under-seat storage, while the base version gets a 30-litre boot. A portable 950W charger can be plugged into a standard household socket, eliminating the need for specialised charging infrastructure. TVS' extensive sales and service network has also contributed significantly to the scooter's success. The iQube is supported by more than 3,300 touchpoints spread across over 3,000 cities in India. The growing community of iQube owners has also made a notable environmental impact. According to TVS, riders have collectively covered over 14.94 billion kilometres since the scooter's launch, helping avoid 5,22,969 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The company says this is equivalent to planting nearly 20.9 million trees.
