Bhopal/Jabalpur: The special CBI court of judicial magistrate first class (JMFC), Shobhana Bhalave, on Monday allowed the CBI application seeking password of lawyer Samarth Singh’s laptop and voice sample of Samarth Singh and his mother, former district judge Giribala Singh.Both Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh are lodged in central jail in connection with the mysterious death of Samarth’s wife model-turned-actor Twisha Sharma. While allowing the voice sample plea of the CBI, the court rejected Giribala Singh’s contention that they should be told by the investigating agency why they need the voice sample.The application moved by the accused for submission of second post mortem report of Twisha Sharma, her CFSL report and papers regarding her finances was also rejected by the court, said counsel for Twisha Sharma’s family Ankur Pandey.
The application moved by Samarth Singh to restrict media coverage of the proceedings of the case was also rejected, he said.Giribala Singh’s application for a directive to the CBI in regard to theft at her house was also rejected by the court, saying that theft is a separate matter and offence in that regard is registered at Katara hills police station.The court listed the case for July 14 for submission of a final report by the CBI in the case and a reply by Union of India and AIIMS, Delhi on the application filed by Ankur Pandey on behalf of Twisha’s family.
