Two arrested with MDMA, hashish oil and cannabis in hotel raid in Kerala’s Kannur

The police arrested two people from a hotel near the old bus stand at Thalassery in Kannur, Kerala, after seizing a cache of narcotics, including MDMA, hahish oil and cannabis, from them on Thursday.

The accused – Rishad K.M., a native of Kochi, and C.P.K. Nadeem from Thalassery – had allegedly checked into the hotel with the drugs. Based on a tip-off, the police conducted a surprise inspection. When the duo refused to open the hotel room, officers forcibly entered and recovered 15.49 grams of MDMA, 3.07 grams of hashih oil and 5.61 grams of cannabis.

The raid was carried out under the direction of Thalassery Circle Inspector T.V. Biju Prakash.
