Two held for alleged sexual assault on minors

The City police on Friday (February 6) arrested two persons in connection with two separate cases registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The accused were identified as K. Suhail, 20, and K.V. Suneesh, 30. Suhail was arrested in Maharashtra on charges of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl while he was staying at Pantheerankavu. Suneesh, a resident of Poovattuparamba, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a six-year-old girl.
