Two men died after a speeding car crashed into a road divider in Gujarat’s Jetpur on Saturday. The vehicle, reportedly a Hyundai Verna, is believed to have gone out of control before the collision.
One of the victims, identified as Avadh Tiwari, was driving the car at the time of the crash.
According to reports, the sedan was moving at around 120 kmph shortly before the accident happened.
Minutes before the crash, Tiwari had uploaded videos on his Instagram account showing him driving at high speed.
In one of the clips, recorded by a person sitting in the back seat, Tiwari can be seen recording a reel with a mobile phone in his left hand while steering the car with the other.
Another video reportedly shows a passenger in the front seat filming the speeding vehicle during the journey.
Soon after, the driver is believed to have lost control of the car, which then rammed into a divider.
Tiwari died at the scene of the accident. His friend, 20-year-old Devraj Gosai, who was also in the vehicle, was taken to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
A third passenger, identified as Akshay Pravinbhai Vaghela, was critically injured and is currently receiving treatment.
Tiwari had more than 3,500 followers on Instagram and frequently shared pictures and videos of himself with different cars on the platform.
