Two youths killed in motorcycle accident near Kozhikode beach in Kerala

Two motorcycle riders were killed following a head-on collision on the Kozhikode beach road in Kerala on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Marvan Subair, 20, of Kannur district and Jubaid, 19, of Kakkodi.

According to police sources, the accident took place around 3 a.m. near a petrol bunk on the South Beach. Two other youths, who sustained grave injuries in the incident, were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

Local residents who accessed surveillance camera visuals from the accident spot said the riders were suspected of violating speed limits. Both the deceased succumbed to injuries on the spot, they said.
