U.P. emerges as reliable investment destination amid global uncertainty, says CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the State has emerged as a safe and reliable destination for investment with the state’s identity transformed through transparent policies, strict law and order, improved infrastructure, and an industry-friendly.

“Over the past nine years, the State has completely transformed its identity through transparent policies, strict law and order, improved infrastructure, and an industry-friendly environment,” said Mr. Adityanath, while launching the ‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ single-window system in Lucknow.

“U.P. offers a conducive ecosystem for scalable businesses, a vast consumer market, skilled young human resources, and seamless connectivity all in one place,” added the U.P. CM. Mr. Adityanath, who distributed incentives to 45 companies and Letters of Comfort (LoCs) to 62 companies. “The government is committed to ensuring rapid ground-breaking after MoUs, resolving minor issues related to investments quickly, and providing a favorable environment for industries,” said the CM, adding the confidence of entrepreneurs serves as the true foundation of development, and the government will persist in leveraging it to establish itself as a premier hub for investment and industrial advancement.

“The trust of investors constitutes the most significant asset of the state, and the administration is diligently working to enhance it. Uttar Pradesh boasts a workforce that is both market-ready and industry-ready, featuring a substantial pool of skilled young individuals. Additionally, it enjoys one of the most favorable demographic dividends worldwide, coupled with a large consumer market, rendering it exceptionally appealing to investors,” added the CM.

The U.P. CM also said in order to further facilitate the ease of doing business, the intricate land-use conversion procedure under Section 80 has been eliminated. Now, once a map receives approval under the master plan, the land use will be automatically considered approved, thereby removing the necessity for separate certification.
