The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the final seat allotment results for professional courses (undergraduate), including medical and engineering on Saturday. The admission process has commenced.
For the first time, a separate admission schedule has been announced for each course.
For engineering courses, the choice entry process began on Saturday. Candidates who select Choice-1 can pay the fees and download the admission order between August 2 and August 8. The last date to report to the allotted college is August 9.
For agricultural science, veterinary science, BPharm, and Pharm-D courses, choice entry is allowed from August 4. Candidates who select Choice-1 must pay the fees between August 4 and 8 and report to their colleges by August 9.
Candidates opting for Yoga and Naturopathy, BPT, BPO, Allied Health Sciences, and Architecture courses can enter their choices from August 5. Those who select Choice-1 must pay the fees by August 11 and report to their colleges by August 12.
For BSc Nursing, candidates can begin their choice entry from August 6. Those who select Choice-1 must pay the fees by August 11 and report by August 12.
Candidates allotted seats in Medical, Dental, and Homeopathy courses can enter their choices from August 7. They must pay the fees by August 11 and report to colleges by August 12. The MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) seat allotment results will be announced on August 6, after which the State-level admission process will begin.
Due to the limited time available for counselling as per the schedule, KEA has directed that all colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as working days.
