The sun, sand, and spectacle of Goa will soon provide the backdrop for the next chapter of Ultimate Table Tennis, as India’s premier franchise-based table tennis competition prepares for its seventh season in July 2026.

City-based franchises and some of the world’s top paddlers will converge on the coastal state, transforming the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium into a buzzing arena of smash, spin, and elite competition.

Fans across the country will be able to follow every match live, with the Star Sports network broadcasting the action on television, while JioHotstar will stream the tournament digitally.

Since launching in 2017, Ultimate Table Tennis has grown into one of India’s most prominent sports leagues, providing a unique stage where international stars compete alongside the country’s top talent.

Season 7 is expected to continue that tradition, bringing together elite global players and India’s rising stars in a format designed to deliver fast-paced, high-intensity matches.

UTT co-promoter Vita Dani highlighted the league’s role in shaping the sport’s growth in the country.

“Ultimate Table Tennis has steadily become a key pillar in India’s table tennis ecosystem," Dani said.

“Over the years, we’ve seen the standard of the sport rise across every level, from grassroots programmes to international competition. The league has created more exposure, stronger competition, and greater belief among Indian players."

“Our focus remains on building a world-class league that inspires young athletes, engages fans, and supports the long-term development of the sport."

Across its six seasons, UTT has featured some of the country’s biggest names, including veteran star Achanta Sharath Kamal, while also helping nurture the next generation of players such as Diya Chitale, Manav Thakkar, and Manush Shah.

The league’s rise has coincided with significant progress for Indian table tennis on the global stage. At the most recent Olympic Games, both the men’s and women’s national teams qualified for the first time, underlining the sport’s upward trajectory.

Further details on the Season 7 player auction and full team rosters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
