UP government launches MYUVA scheme to empower youth entrepreneurs

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the MYUVA scheme, an initiative to support the state's youth in starting businesses. Under this scheme, permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh aged between twenty-one and forty years can access collateral-free and interest-free loans of up to Rs five lakh. The programme aims to support one lakh new entrepreneurs annually, with a goal of building a network of ten lakh entrepreneurs over the next decade. Eligible candidates must have passed at least Class 8 and hold a technical degree, diploma, ITI certificate, or government-recognized skill training certificate. Applications are processed online through the state MSME and official MYUVA portals.
