Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on Tuesday announced the final results for the appointment of 624 lecturers across 18 subjects in govt-aided secondary schools.According to UPESSC chairman Prashant Kumar, the recruitment process was conducted in a transparent and time-bound manner. The written examination for lecturer recruitment was held on May 9 and 10, while interviews of successful candidates were conducted between June 15 and June 27.Following the declaration of the results, the process of allotting schools will begin. The allotment will be carried out based on the institutional preferences submitted online by candidates and the declared selection panel, in accordance with the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board Rules, 1998, Kumar said.The recruitment was conducted for 18 subjects, including physics, biology, home science, history, education, English, agriculture, commerce, sociology, political science, mathematics, economics, Sanskrit, psychology, chemistry, geography, Hindi and fine arts. Subject-wise and category-wise details of the selected candidates are available on the UPESSC website.Candidates can also access the cut-off marks and other detailed information related to the selection process online. The commission has provided a facility for candidates to view their individual scores for one week through the recruitment portal using their roll number and date of birth. However, no information regarding marks will be provided under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
