Jaipur: The state govt Sunday directed officials to upload the final master plans under the Mukhyamantri Viksit Gram/Shahari Ward Abhiyan by May 15. It also called for faster execution aligned with local needs at the village and urban ward levels.In the directives issued by local self govt department secretary Ravi Jain and Joga Ram, secretary of the Panchayati Raj dept, the officials underscored the govt’s emphasis on strict timelines and accountability.Jain also stressed the need to maintain data quality while ensuring the timely completion of compilation, entry and GIS mapping. He called for effective use of SSO ID mapping and reporting systems, regular data audits at the block and urban body levels, and prompt completion of gram sabhas and focus group discussions.
Coordination with the statistics department and the use of existing e-Gram data were also emphasised.To streamline execution, the govt directed the appointment of in-charge officers for clusters of four to five gram panchayats or urban wards, along with the setting up of field-level help desks for technical support.Launched on March 19, the campaign aims to turn local development planning into a mass movement by preparing dynamic, need-based master plans for every gram panchayat and urban ward in the state.
