UPPSC releases PCS 2024 marks, cut-off

Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Wednesday released the detailed marks and category-wise cut-off marks for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination (PCS) 2024, more than two months after announcing the final results.The information includes subject- and paper-wise marks obtained by candidates in the main examination, interview marks and the aggregate score, wherever applicable.The commission has also made available the post-wise and category-wise cut-off marks of selected candidates.According to the commission, the marks and cut-off details will remain accessible on the official website till June 15. Candidates can view their scores by entering the required credentials on the portal and verifying their identity through a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number.UPPSC has also issued instructions for candidates facing difficulties in receiving the OTP or those wishing to update their registered mobile number. Such candidates have been asked to send an application to the commission mentioning their roll number, name, father’s name, new mobile number and signature. The application must be accompanied by a self-attested copy of a valid identity proof, such as a voter ID card, PAN card, driving licence, Aadhaar card, or high school certificate.

After verification and updating records, the commission will inform candidates through SMS, enabling them to access their marks online.Meanwhile, the commission has also released the provisional answer keys for eight subjects of the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination 2025 conducted on May 31 for appointments in govt degree colleges across UP. The subjects include computer science, geography, economics, commerce, Urdu, statistics, Sanskrit and education.UPPSC examination controller, Harshdev Pandey, has invited objections from candidates regarding any question or answer in the provisional key.Candidates can submit their objections along with supporting evidence either in person or through post to the commission by 5pm on June 16. The commission will examine the objections before preparing the final answer keys and further recruitment process.
