Indian-American CEO Nikesh Arora's daughter Ayesha is getting married to Jack Hughes in a lavish four-day ceremony, which includes US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is set to attend the wedding of Ayesha Arora, the daughter of Indian-American tech billionaire Nikesh Arora, in Jodhpur.

The main wedding ceremony between Ayesha Arora and Jack Hughes will take place on February 28 at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Rajasthan. The private celebrations, which began on February 25, span several venues from Delhi to Jodhpur.

The wedding boasts of a high-profile guest list, including US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who is expected to arrive today. Security has been significantly beefed up across the sites to accommodate the VVIP attendees.

The four-day destination wedding began at The Lodhi in New Delhi, followed by a Holi party at Bal Samand Palace in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur and a terrace dinner at Hari Mahal Palace. A lunch pool has been planned at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, and a sangeet ceremony at Mehrangarh Fort. The wedding will culminate on February 28 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Who Is Nikesh Arora?

Nikesh Arora, the current CEO and Chairman of Palo Alto Networks, is a prominent figure in the tech industry with a $1.3 billion net worth, according to Forbes. Arora previously held senior leadership roles at Google and SoftBank Group.

Nikesh has received numerous awards for leadership and influence, including ETs 2015 Global Indian of the Year, CRN’s Top 100 Executives “Most influential", and Comparably’s 5th Annual list of Best CEOs for Women.

He was one of the highest-paid CEOs in the world in 2023, earning more than $151.4 million, surpassing tech leaders like Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi in 1989 before taking a job with Wipro. He later moved to the US to pursue higher education.

Arora holds a master’s degree in finance from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. After taking Google and Softbank Group to new heights, he joined Palo Alto Networks as CEO in 2018. He currently has a network of Rs 12,495 crore, making him one of the highest-earning CEOs in the US.
