US Delivers 90,000 Tons of Arms To Israel As EU Slams 'Abhorrent' Gaza Strikes; Chaos at Aid Site

Israel on May 27 received 800th shipment of armaments and military equipment from its ally United States, as per Israeli defence ministry. Eight hundred transport planes and 140 ships have delivered over 90,000 tons of arms from the US to Israel since the start of the war, the ministry said. The military equipment delivered to Israel includes “armored vehicles, munitions, ammunition, personal protection gear”, the ministry added.It said the deliveries are “a significant component” in ensuring the IDF can continue operations.Meanwhile, Footage appeared to show Palestinians overrunning one of the newly opened aid distribution sites in Rafah on its second day of operation. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is the linchpin of a new aid system that wrests distribution away from aid groups led by the UN.
