The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Saturday rejected Iran’s claim that it had struck US “hideouts" in Dubai and caused over 500 casualties, calling the allegation false and part of a wider misinformation campaign.
In a statement posted on social media, CENTCOM said: “CLAIM: Iran’s IRGC alleges it struck U.S. ‘hideouts’ in Dubai, causing over 500 casualties."

It then issued a direct rebuttal, stating: “FACT: No U.S. personnel have been attacked in Dubai. The Iranian regime is manufacturing lies on social media to hide the reality that their military capabilities are undeniably overwhelmed and degraded."
The response comes after Iran-linked narratives circulated online claiming that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had targeted covert US positions in Dubai, allegedly resulting in heavy casualties.
CENTCOM’s statement appears aimed at directly countering those claims and preventing the spread of unverified reports at a time when the conflict has become increasingly shaped not only by battlefield developments, but also by information warfare and propaganda.
The US military has not indicated any confirmed attack on American personnel or assets in Dubai, and no independent verification has emerged to support the Iranian claim.
The denial is significant because the United Arab Emirates, particularly Dubai, has remained a sensitive node in the wider regional crisis due to its strategic location, business links, and proximity to Gulf military infrastructure.
CENTCOM’s statement marks a clear public pushbacks yet against Iran’s recent claims of battlefield success outside Iranian territory.
